Welcome to my artisan workshop
These objects are crafted using the ancient sgraffito technique on 24-carat pure or white gold leaf, adhered to Murano glass through a special traditional preparation.
The design is slowly hand-engraved with an extremely fine metal tip. The glass is then fired at high temperatures to permanently fuse the gold to its surface, and finally finished with a protective varnish.
The origins of this technique date back to Roman times, specifically the 3rd century AD "mosaic period."
